A completed application must be submitted before the review process can begin.

A public hearing will be scheduled with the Georgetown Township Planning Commission.

The approval authority for Special Land Use requests is the Planning Commission.

Please complete the application entirely. Enter "N/A" in the fields that are not applicable to your application.

All Special Land Uses are required to meet the General Standards outlined in Section 20.3(A) and the applicable Specific Standards in Section 20.4 of Georgetown Township's Zoning Ordinance.

Unless specifically waived by the Planning Commission, the site plan shall contain all of the requirements outlined in Section 19.4 (these requirements are also listed in page 3 of the application on the next screen). *Please contact us if you have any questions.

By using the paper clip icon on the left side of the screen, you can attach electronic files of your site plan and any accompanying documents that may help facilitate the review of your application.
(Note: There is a 250MB limit on each attachment.)

Once your application is submitted, it will be sent to the Georgetown Township Building & Zoning Department.

Georgetown Township staff will ensure completeness of your application and reach out to you to collect the appropriate application fee outlined below:

  • Special Land Use Permit - New Building: $450.00
  • Special Land Use Permit - Existing Building: $400.00
