Once you have read through and signed this rules and procedures agreement, a member of the Summerfest Committee will review your application. If you are approved, we will send you a link to the payment portal and once we have received you payment, your application will be complete.

I represent to the Orem Summerfest Committee (“Committee”) that I am fully authorized to sign for and bind the undersigned sponsor (“Sponsor”) regarding our entry (“Entry”) in the 2019 Orem Summerfest Parade (“Parade”). On behalf of the Sponsor, I agree that our Entry and all persons associated with it shall comply with all rules prescribed by the Committee as deemed necessary for the efficient and safe conduct of the Parade and related activities. I agree to conduct our Entry and myself in a proper, appropriate manner during the Parade and related activities and to not engage in any activity that is dangerous or likely to cause harm, injury or damage to the person or property of others. RIGHT OF TERMINATION: I understand that the Committee reserves the right to restrict or reject our Entry from participation in the Parade without liability to the Committee, regardless of the cost or inconvenience to our Entry. Any member of the Committee may exercise this right at any point in time, before or during the Parade, for any reason considered by the Committee to be inconsistent with the goals, values, and objectives of the Orem Summerfest. INDEMNIFICATION: As a condition of being a participant in the Parade, I agree to assume full responsibility for my conduct and the conduct and activities of our Entry and to indemnify and hold the Orem Summerfest, the Orem Summerfest Committee and their respective volunteers, representatives and agents; and the City of Orem and its officers, officials, employees, representatives, volunteers and agents; and all others having any responsibility therefore, harmless from any liability, claim, loss or expense (including attorney’s fees) caused by or arising from (a) any conduct or negligence by me or any person or part of our Entry (b) any breach or omission of my representations or warranties, (c) any act of any parade participant or spectator (d) any infringement or violation by me of the rights of others. I understand that submitting this application does not automatically guarantee our Entry into the parade, and that I will be notified in writing of such acceptance. (Such acceptance will be subject to final approval of a sketch or photo of our Entry.) I have read and agree to the rules, fees, and deadlines.
