Type Of Crime Are You Reporting

Criminal Mischief - Damage to property that appears to have been caused intentionally, up to a total value of $1,000. examples: Broken Vehicle Window; Graffiti; Damaged Fence

Theft of Property - Property that was intentionally stolen by another subject, up to a total value of $500. example: Property stolen from within vehicle; Personal items stolen from you at work.

Lost Property - Any property that was lost or mislaid, and there is no indication of a third-party involvement. examples: Missing Keys; Missing Medications; An Item unintentionally left in a Public Place.

Harassing Phone Call - Persistent phone calls from a person, or organization after being asked to cease contact. examples: Telemarketers, after being asked to remove you from their call list.

Fraud and Fraud Attempts - Any instance where a person, or alleged organization attempts to collect money, or items of value from you, if you believe they are using deception, or a scheme to do so.

Identity Theft - Any instance when a person attempted/succeeded to use your identifying information to obtain credit, money, services, property, or anything of value.

Suspicious Activity - Activity that doesn't appear to be normal behavior which may or may not be criminal in nature. Suspicious activity can be either by a person or vehicle. example: You see a vehicle circling in your neighborhood and at the time, you don't report it. The next day, you hear several vehicles in the neighborhood were broken into and want to report information on the suspicious vehicle you saw the previous day.
